Hello everyone!
It’s good to see both new and familiar faces at HKS, even if our community is now virtual. This past year has been a tumultuous one, with powerful reckonings on systemic injustice, a deep economic depression and a global pandemic; we recognize that it’s easy to find ourselves anxious and stressed. At The Citizen we hope to lift up stories of empowerment, healing and community, anchored by an unflinching drive for justice and accountability. We are inspired by this year’s protests calling for racial justice and healing, by the forging of solidarities and mutual aid networks across the world and the ways in which we resist fear and reclaim agency. We hope you will join us in uncovering and building these wellsprings of hope, as we together navigate a most unusual academic year at HKS.
