Last week, Saudi Arabia hosted its Future Investment Initiative summit in Riyadh. We discuss the details of this new initiative, including the unveiling of a robot which was granted Saudi citizenship and the plans to build a futuristic economic zone on Saudi’s northwest coastline.
Additionally, November 2nd, marked the centennial anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, in which the British Foreign Secretary, Arthur Balfour, pledged his country’s support for the creation of a “national home for the Jewish people” in Palestine. We discuss the lasting impact of this declaration and some of the reactions to the centennial anniversary of the declaration.
