Discussion on Affordable Care Act

The Health Policy PIC will be hosting a discussion in which students will share their experiences in health policy. The event will focus on the Affordable Care Act implementation at the federal level. PIC members will share their stories from work experience in ACA implementation at the federal level (ranging from setting up exchanges to ACA communications strategy). Presenters include:

The European Club is hosting a discussion with H.E. Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, Greek Minister of Shipping and Maritime Affairs. This is going to be a breakfast session with Q&A. The minister will cover issues on: 1) The new Trade Partnerships and the global role of the Greek Shipping 2) The new migration flows and the new security challenges.

The EdPIC will continue its small group dinner and discussion focusing on international education. The Latino/Hispanic Caucus will be organizing the festive gathering in the tradition of a Latino Holiday Posada. The organizers will be collecting toys for the Action for Boston Community Development Annual Toy Drive, which gives toys to children from families who might not be able to afford them during the holiday season. The organizers encourage the participants to bring a toy or gift card.
