On November 10, 2016, HKS Dean Doug Elmendorf hosted the annual All-School Reception at the John Joseph Moakley United States Courthouse. The event gave student, faculty, and staff an opportunity to “come together as a community and enjoy each other’s company.” In his brief opening remarks, Dean Elmendorf expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone for making the school a welcoming place for himself and all members of the community, especially during this turbulent election season. The reception was well received by students and faculty alike. Many attendees expressed the feeling that the event helped lighten up their mood after what had happened just a few days earlier on election night.
